Request account or data deletion

You can request deletion of your Foreday account or personal information by emailing support@evensteadsoftware.com.

What to include

• Say whether you want to delete your whole Foreday account or particular information.
• Send the request from your sign-in email if possible. For Apple private relay accounts, identify the relay address shown in your Foreday account details if you can.
• If you cannot access that email, tell us so we can arrange another proportionate identity check.

Do not send your password, an invitation secret, a full budget export or identity documents in your first message. You do not need an active subscription or access to the app to request deletion.

What happens next

Requests are reviewed and handled manually. We verify your authority, identify the relevant account, budget, invitation and support records, and explain the effect, expected timing and any information that must be retained. We confirm the outcome after action is completed. We do not automatically delay a deletion request for a subscription recovery period.

Deleting one person's account must not disclose another member's Only you information or indiscriminately delete the other members' budgets. Shared history and identifiers require review, including any mandatory rights to delete sensitive information. Any information retained for a legal or security reason is limited to that need.

Removing active records is separate from erasing provider backups. Firebase describes an authentication-data removal period of up to 180 days after deletion is initiated; other providers have different schedules. Independently saved exports or screenshots cannot be recalled, and disconnected devices cannot receive cleanup instructions until they reconnect.

Current development service

In-app account deletion is planned for public launch and is not yet available in development builds. Closing a budget, leaving a shared budget, signing out or uninstalling Foreday does not delete your Firebase account or erase all cloud history. Subscriptions and their recovery/deletion timers are not active in the development service.
